Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 to 2 tablets with a glass of water at night before going to bed. Use up to four tablets daily if required. Drink plenty of water and increase fibre in diet.
The correct dosage is one that gives a comfortable bowel motion. For most people, one or two tablets provide a comfortable movement in the morning. For others the dose may be increased by one tablet daily (noting that the total daily dose should not exceed 4 tablets) until a satisfactory response is obtained.
Each tablet contains docusate sodium 50mg and total sennosides (calculated as sennoside B) 8 mg
Prolonged use of any laxative is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Consult your doctor if constipation persists. Keep out of reach of children.
