Dimetapp DM Cold & Cough Elixir is effective, pleasant tasting and sugar free. It contains an antihistamine to relieve a runny nose, itchy, watery eyes and sneezing, a decongestant to relieve nasal and sinus congestion and a cough suppressant to soothe an irritating, unproductive cough.

DOSAGE

Every 4 hours orally, if required:

Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5mls

Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml

Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml

Do not exceed 6 doses in any 24 hour period.

Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Brompheniramine Maleate 2mg, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg

Also Contains: Sodium Benzoate, Saccharin Sodium. Sugar Free

CAUTION

May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. Do not exceed recommended dosage. If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours or if with high fever, consult a doctor. Seek medical advice before taking if: pregnant, lactating; taking antihypertensives, or antidepressants, sedatives or tranquilisers; or if have heart disease, hypertension, asthma, emphysema, difficulty breathing, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma or difficulty in urinating due to enlarged prostate.
