Betadine® Antiseptic Ointment is recommended for the treatment of common skin infections such as infected nails and tinea, as well as preventing infection in minor burns, cuts and abrasions. It is a bacterial, sporicidal, fungicidal and virucidal antiseptic.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply directly to the affected area two or three times daily. May be bandaged. Non-staining and easily washed off the skin and natural fabrics. 

CONTAINS

Povidone-lodine 10% w/w antiseptic ointment equivalent to 1% w/w available Iodine. 

PRECAUTIONS

Do not use if hypersensitive to Iodine. Avoid application over large skin areas. If irritation, redness or swelling develops discontinue treatment. In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns, cinsult doctor.
